About us

High-quality, beautifully designed wooden toys for children have been what the family business howa has been known for for over 20 years. Play kitchens, workbenches with toolboxes or classics such as shops and dollhouses invite little ones to recreate and learn about the adult world. Made from the natural product of wood, the toys are both child-friendly and robust. In recent years, play tents and items for the children's room have been added. The company attaches particular importance to safety for children and sustainability in production. In a modern design with lots of loving details, the products encourage play, encourage imagination and fit easily into living rooms and children's rooms.

Howa Spielwaren started with Punch and Judy shows and painting boards in 1995 in Steinach / Thuringia. As part of modernization and expansion, the toy manufacturer moved to Neustadt near Coburg in Upper Franconia in 2003. The howa brand has established itself over the years on the national and many international toy markets. Today, customers come not only from Germany, but from all over Europe and Asia.

They are regularly tested in international, independent test laboratories.

The howa company pays attention to safety, sustainability and efficiency when selecting raw materials, producing products and also designing.  Made from the natural product wood, they are long-lasting and, above all, safe. The careful selection  all materials and raw materials as well as the constant improvement and optimization of the production processes  are at the top of the priority list.
